Overview

KUCHING, the capital of Sarawak and the largest city on the island of Borneo, is a bustling yet charming city known for its cultural diversity, history, and modern-day attractions. Often referred to as the "City of Cats," Kuching is a mix of old and new, offering visitors a rich tapestry of colonial architecture, local markets, and contemporary cafes and restaurants. As the "Gateway to Borneo," Kuching provides easy access to some of Sarawak’s most famous national parks, such as Bako and Gunung Gading. The city itself is a melting pot of ethnic groups including Iban, Bidayuh, Malay, Chinese, and Melanau communities, creating a vibrant cultural scene filled with festivals, art, and culinary delights.

Itinery

  • DAY 1: ARRIVAL – KUCHING CITY TOUR (-/-/-)

    Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, meet our representative and begin the Kuching City & Shopping Tour.

    Highlights:
    -Kuching Old Mosque
    -Tua Pek Kong Temple
    -Square Tower, Astana & Fort Margherita
    -State Legislative Assembly & Darul Hana Bridge
    -Kuching Waterfront
    -Cat Statues
    -Market, Main Bazaar & Chinatown
    After the tour, proceed for hotel check-in (standard check-in time: after 3:00 PM, Malaysia Time).    

  • DAY 2: SEMENGGOH NATURE RESERVE, CROCODILE FARM & MINI ZOO & SARAWAK RIVER CRUISE (10HRS) (B/-/-)

    Breakfast at hotel
    9:00 AM- Itinerary:
    -Visit Semenggoh Wildlife Centre – see free-roaming orangutans and observe their natural behaviour.
    - Visit Crocodile Farm & Mini Zoo – over 1,000 crocodiles, bearcats, pythons, peacocks, and Arapaima Gigas.
    - Evening: Sarawak Sunset River Cruise – enjoy Kuching’s landmarks and riverfront views.
    Return to hotel for overnight.

  • DAY 3: SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE – CAT MUSEUM – SHOPPING TOUR (B/-/-)

    Breakfast at hotel
    9:00 AM – Itinerary:
    - Visit Sarawak Cultural Village – traditional ethnic houses, craft demonstrations, and cultural performance.
    - Afternoon: Visit Cat Museum – over 2,000 cat-related exhibits.
    - Shopping for local crafts – woodcarvings, Pua Kumbu, Sarawak pottery, bird’s nest products, and Kek Lapis.
    Return to hotel for overnight.

  • DAY 3: DEPARTURE (B/-/-)

    Breakfast at the hotel
    Free at your own leisure
    12PM: Check-out from the hotel (Standard check-out time is 12:00 PM, Malaysia Time)
    Transfer to Kuching Airport for Flights departure (approximately 45 munities or 1 hrs journey).
    (Note: The driver will pick you up 4 hours before your flight departure time.)

• Kuching City Tour (3hrs)

• A 50% surcharge will be imposed for service between 10:00 PM until 7:00 AM.

1) Prices are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (MYR)

2) Prices are based on per person, with a minimum of 2 pax to go.

3) Package prices are subject to change without prior notice.

5) The price quoted is merely a quotation. No booking has been made until we receive your written confirmation.

6) This package rate is only applied to low season of the month except for long weekend holiday, peak season, Malaysia school holiday and Malaysia Public Holiday

7) All products and services offered are subject to availability at the time of booking (limited slots).

8) Payment Terms:

• A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation for bookings made 40–60 days prior to the     service date.

• Balance payment must be made 20 working days before the service date or according to the hotel/supplier deadline.

Note: Please send a copy of the payment/remittance slip for reference. All bank charges are to be borne by the payer.

10) All payments made are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or non-utilization of the package.

11) Cancellation Policy (not applicable during peak season):

        Upon confirmation, the following penalties will apply based on the number of working days before the service date:

   • 25–20 days: 50% of the total payment will be forfeited

   • 19–15 days: 75% of the total payment will be forfeited

   • 14–0 days: 100% of the total payment will be forfeited

12) Cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to approval by the hotel or supplier. Otherwise, the full amount will be charged and is non-refundable.

13) Sri Sutra Travel reserves the right to alter the itinerary, accommodation, route, or schedule when necessary or in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
