Overview

Medan, Indonesia's third largest city, is not only a rich melting pot of cultures but also an entry point to the wild nature of North Sumatra.

Lake Toba is the world's largest volcanic lake. It features Samosir Island, an island within the lake, and serves 

as an important spiritual and cultural center for the Toba Batak people. Visitors can explore Batak culture, enjoy the cooler climate, 

and engage in activities like swimming and biking.

 

Itinery

  • DAY 01: MEDAN – PARAPAT/SAMOSIR ISLAND (L, D)

    Upon arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide. Start the journey to Lake Toba, the biggest volcano lake in the world. Lunch in a local restaurant. Proceed to lake Toba, en route stop at Patent Shop to buy local food such as Ting-ting, Teng-teng, etc, and visit Sidamanik Tea Plantation. Arrive in Parapat, Samosir Island, then check in hotel, and have dinner at a local restaurant. Free program, night life in Parapat/Samosir Island.

  • DAY 02: SAMOSIR ISLAND TOUR – PARAPAT – BERASTAGI (B, L, D)

    After breakfast at the hotel, check out and start for the Samosir Island Tour visit: Tomok Village to see the ancient Batak Kings Tomb, The kings of Sidabutar. After visiting Tomok Village. Continue to visit Ambarita village, to see the Batak Village and the famous stone chair, and the execution place of King Sialagan. Crossing back to Parapat Then, had lunch at a local restaurant. Proceed to Berastagi Highland. Then the trip will continue to visit the Sipiso-Piso waterfall to see the view of lake Toba from the northern side. Arrival in Berastagi, visit Check-in hotel and dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Free Program, night life in Berastagi.

  • DAY 03: BERASTAGI – MEDAN (B, L, D)

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed back to Medan. Enroute we will visit: Pasar Buah (Fruit Market) to buy some special local fruit, vegetables, etc, Shwedagon Pagoda Replica at Taman Lumbini. Arrive in Medan, and visit Maimoon Palace, Al Mashun Grand Mosque/Annai Velangkani Church,Sri Mariamman Temple/Maitreya Temple, Kedai Kain, Pasar Ikan, and Sun Plaza/Medan Mall. Dinner at a local restaurant. Check in hotel and free own program.

  • DAY 04: MEDAN – DEPARTURE (B)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Transfer to the airport for your flight departure to Kuala Lumpur. 

  • Hotel accommodation based on Twin Sharing Room with daily breakfast.

Booking Policy:

• Reservation booking 7-10 days / (30-60 Days for Peak Period)

• Prices are based on per person, with a minimum of 2 pax to go.

• A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation for bookings made 40–60 days prior to the service date.

• The booking will be confirmed after the deposit payment will be made.

• The price quoted is merely a quotation. No booking has been made until we receive your written confirmation.

• The company will not make booking 5 days before arrival date/ tour starts.

• Package prices are subject to change without prior notice.

• Sri Sutra Travel reserves the right to alter the itinerary, accommodation, route, or schedule when necessary or in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

• Cancellation policy (not applicable during peak season):

• Cancellation 45 days before the tour starts: a 30% fee will be charged.

• Cancellation 30 days before the tour starts: a 50% fee will be charged.

• Cancellation 15 days before the tour starts: a 100% fee will be charged.

• No-show : 100% of the total price will be charged.

• Cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to approval by the hotel or supplier.

• Otherwise, the full amount will be charged and is non-refundable.

• All payments made are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or non-utilization of the package.

 

Refund Policy:

• In case of cancellation booking, after cancellation charged, the remaining payment will be kept for next booking. The refund will applicable to be claimed for the next booking within 1 year and no policy to refund by monetary terms.

 

Terms of Payment:

• A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation for bookings made 40–60 days prior to the service date.

• The 1st 50% deposit (no refund) of total expenses is required within 7days after the booking is confirmed.

• Balance payment must be made 30 working days before the service date or according to the hotel/supplier deadline.
