If guests are always right, then a few hotels in Malaysia are certainly on the right path.
A total of nine hotels here bagged the gold awards while three was named in the “Best for” categories in the recent Hotels.com Loved by Guest Awards 2016.
Langkawi was awarded for four of its hotels namely The Datai, The Danna, Casa Del Mar and Ambong Ambong. Meanwhile, Eastern & Oriental Hotel and Campbell House were the selected winners from Penang.
Over in the central region, the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur and Lanson Place Bukit Ceylon proved to be popular among travellers to the country’s capital.
Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur that is located at the heart of the city, received the “Best for Luxury” hotel award. As for Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort & Spa Tuaran Sabah, the property was named the “Best for Beach” hotel for its luxurious beach holiday.
The awards are based on authentic, trusted reviews left by customers who have actually stayed in the properties, meaning the hotel guests are the real judges.
More than 2,700 hotels across 94 countries have been classed as outstanding and awarded the top Hotels.com Loved by Guests gold award, after achieving an average guest review rating of 4.7 or higher (out of a 5 point rating system).
